Case Studies

Grown in San Diego, I studied psychology & cognitive science at UCLA while working on design with some startups in Santa Monica before moving to San Francisco, where I co-founded and designed Cassette. There I was lucky to work with a small and amazing founding team advised by David Kelley.

Since Cassette’s exit to Evernote, I’ve consulted with technology companies globally while based in California. I’ve been fortunate to lead product design at some amazing companies, including 4 Y Combinator-backed teams. I’ve designed consumer and business products across a variety of industries, including renewable energy, biomedical research, cancer therapeutics, design services, tools for creative work, event ticketing, fashion & e-commerce.

Outside of my work, I place a high value on creativity, learning and relationships. As a lifelong musician I’m always scouring new music and occasionally making some. These days, travel, food, photography, and a healthy dose of matcha and leisure sports (currently: tennis) keep me going.
